Sweaty Betty Foundation
The Sweaty Betty Foundation wanted to uncover what’s stopping many young girls getting involved in PE at school, so the team at Claremont spoke to groups of girls from secondary schools in London to talk about their experience of PE.
They highlighted a number of issues, from the design of changing rooms to sports selections and the impact of their periods. We distilled these insights into a small guide for PE teachers. It’s short, direct and to the point, quickly conveying the girls’ main concerns (and they’ve even taken it to the Houses of Parliament for a meeting with their local MP).
